Time to get serious about being a monotheist. A monotheist is a person whose entire self-definition is received from her Creator---not from a job description, not from a relationship, not from a cultural norm.
Not from the weight of the keys one carries around. Not from performance or perception. Not from the number of things I might imagine will fall through the cracks of the organization if my eagle eye is not on guard. Heck, somebody might form a plural using an apostrophe in a church publication and there is NOTHING I can do about it.
Well, God, it's on you. We both know that busyness is one of my most serious addictions. It's a good thing you are still God and I'm not.
